Its unique design allows operators to use PTO-driven machinery such as power harrows up to 4 metres wide while simultaneously addressing soil compaction issues caused by modern heavy farming equipment.

The machine features a hydraulic rear linkage and detachable A-frame system, enabling operators to tow implements while maintaining the correct working height. By hydraulically floating the rear linkage rams and pre-setting the linkage height, the CCT allows the loosening legs to be fully lifted clear of the ground while maintaining optimum towing geometry for the rear implement.

Equipped with four Grange Low Disturbance loosening legs, the CCT is specifically designed to lift and fracture compacted soils to depths of up to 300mm (12 inches) without excessive soil disturbance. This helps improve water infiltration, root development and soil structure while preserving valuable crop residues and soil biology.

The variable leg spacing allows the machine to be tailored to different wheel or track centres, making it particularly effective at removing wheelings created by tractors, combines and heavy cultivation equipment. Many growers use the CCT during drilling operations to eradicate wheelings on the final pass, while others utilise it immediately after harvest to restore soil structure ahead of autumn cultivations.
