Additional Information

The Kverneland ES has earned its reputation as one of the most successful mounted ploughs on the market. Designed around a unique close-coupled construction, the plough positions its centre of gravity closer to the tractor than many competing models. This significantly reduces lifting requirements, improves stability and allows efficient operation with a broader range of tractors.

The lightweight yet exceptionally strong construction is made possible through Kverneland’s world-renowned steel manufacturing and heat treatment technology. Rather than increasing steel thickness and weight, Kverneland achieves outstanding strength through advanced metallurgical processes. The result is a plough that is both lighter and more durable than many alternatives, helping to reduce fuel consumption, minimise wear and maximise profitability.

One of the major strengths of the ES Series is its adaptability. Available with 85cm or 100cm interbody clearance as standard, the plough performs exceptionally well across a wide range of soil and crop conditions. For farms dealing with large volumes of crop residues, a 115cm interbody clearance option is also available, providing outstanding trash flow and reducing the risk of blockages.

The Variomat® Vari-Width® system allows operators to adjust working width hydraulically while on the move. This enables quick adaptation to changing field conditions, soil types and tractor performance, helping maximise work rates while maintaining efficient fuel use.

Auto-Line automatic pulling line adjustment ensures the plough remains correctly aligned with the tractor regardless of working width settings. This reduces side draft, lowers wear rates and improves overall ploughing efficiency without requiring complex manual adjustments.

Kverneland’s industry-leading Auto-Reset system allows uninterrupted ploughing in difficult conditions. Individual bodies automatically release when obstacles are encountered and return to their working position without operator intervention. The maintenance-free design eliminates routine servicing and minimises downtime.

The ES range is also fully compatible with the Kverneland Packomat system, allowing ploughing and reconsolidation to be completed in a single pass. This helps reduce fuel consumption, save time and create an ideal seedbed ready for subsequent cultivation or drilling operations.

For competitive ploughing enthusiasts, the ES 2-furrow model is also available as a specialist competition plough and has been used by National and World Ploughing Champions.
